Karel’s “Make Up Your Own Holiday Blog Hop” March 26-27

Hi! Karel has come up with another wonderful Blog Hop. This is my first time as a Hoppee.
You should have arrived here from Krista Orr at Scrapaleupagus at  http://www.scrapaleupagus.blogspot.com/
If you just stumbled across the hop, and you’d like to start at the beginning, hop over to Karelj’s blog at www.kareljcreations.com to start at the beginning. After my stop, you should head over to Jane Hollon at Sneezy’s Ramblings at http://sneezy1956.blogspot.com/ to see what she has in store for you!”
My Holiday is:
“Take a Trip Through the Fairy Door (If Only In Your Imagination)”
FairyDoorHolidayHop-001FairyDoorHolidayHop-002FairyDoorHolidayHop-003FairyDoorHolidayHop-004FairyDoorHolidayHop-005FairyDoorHolidayHop-006FairyDoorHolidayHop-007FairyDoorHolidayHop-008
(You can click on any image for a larger version)

I picked up this cute wooden fairy door on a clearance table at one of the craft stores. I covered the bricks with scraps of paper, colored everything else with Bic Mark Its, added the embellishments, and of course the Fairy. She is a digi-stamp from Dardi at www.dtsart.com. I colored her with Prismas and Stickled her wings and cut her out so she could admire her Fairy Door. I think everyone should have a Fairy Door in their house. How else are the Fairies going to come and go?

There is some blog candy which I forgot to photograph but I will and revise this post with the photo.RIGHT NOW!! It is a little treasure chest full of tidbits so you can make your own Fairy Land. Please become a follower of this blog and leave a comment and a way to get in touch with you (USA only)  and on Monday I will pick the winner after Karel shows me how to use her friend Randy!
Included in this Blog Candy Treasure Chest is enough stuff to build a Fairy Land of your own. There is a butterfly wind chime (It's hanging on the arrangement sticks thingy, which is not included, LOL) Plus two Studio stamp sets, a green chalk, pink, blue and green glitter tubes, a foam butterfly and a die cut butterfly, some punched butterflies, some punched layered flowers, buttons, pink beads, green beads, white pearls, magenta glitter, three acrylic messages, one with a vellum envie, square note, string of pearls, pink lace, crochet lace, white and green ric rac, buttons, jewel leaf buttons, a turtle and two little straight pin bouquets of heart pins and leaf pins. So be careful opening if you win this. And, by tomorrow there may be a surprise to go along with it! did I mention the turtle? He's coming along too.

Thank you for visiting, keep hopping!
Karelj is offering an over-all blog candy for those who are hopping along with us. She thought it would be fun to have some holiday-themed candy for this hop--but, of course, made-up holiday items were hard to come by! She decided to do a whole bunch of *regular* holiday themed stamps for you to enjoy. From Fiskars, there is an assorted holiday set; there's an alphabet from All Night Media, a set of 100 plus clear stamps and a storage case from Family Memories, and 5 sets of clear stamps from various dollar bins in big box stores. How to win them? Follow along the blog trail, leaving a comment on each and every blog. On Monday, Karelj will ask her buddy Randy (random.org) to select a blog number (from the list), a day (Saturday is one, Sunday is two), and a comment number from that blog. Please make sure you have left a reliable way to contact you (email is best, in the safe format of **** at **** dot com ) so you can be notified by her personally. If you don't, she’ll have to select another winner.
